Join this unique expedition that dives deep into the Brazilian Amazon basin!
We have chosen to focus on the Tapajós region for this exploration of Amazon culture, hiking and paddling along the Tapajós river near its confluence with the mighty Amazon. The Tapajós is a main tributary of the Amazon key to the life of the larger river.
The trip will spend 7 nights on an Amazon River Barge (our mothership), using it as a moving base while hiking and canoeing. Each day will have 5-7 hours of activity, either hiking or canoeing coupled with learning about and visiting small communities along the river.
$350 deposit is due at the time of registration and the remaining balance of $5,450 will be due on March 10, 2027
Cancellation Terms*:
Prior to March 9 - Refund of all funds paid minus $150 cancellation fee
March 9 - April 9 - Refund of all funds paid minus the deposit
April 9 onwards - Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis
As the trip start date gets closer reservations become harder to cancel without penalties and open spots on the trip become harder to fill. Cancellation penalties reflect these unfortunate realities.
